Who this is for

End users who want to launch surveys and get first responses quickly.


What success looks like

By the end of this playbook, you should:

  • Launch at least one survey through email embed, survey link, or QR code
  • Receive at least one response


Week 1 target

  • Launch 1 survey
  • Distribute through at least 1 channel
  • Collect first 5 responses
  • Tag at least 3 key insights

Day 0 — Build and prepare channels

  1. Create one focused survey with a single objective.
  2. Keep it short (target completion under 3 minutes).
  3. Prepare all three channel assets:
  4. Email embed block
  5. Survey share link
  6. QR code

Day 1 — Launch primary channel

  1. Choose one primary channel based on where your audience is:
  2. Email embed: for newsletters and outbound email sends
  3. Survey link: for chat, social, and 1:1 outreach
  4. QR code: for events, physical locations, packaging, or in-person touchpoints
  5. Send to your first 10–20 high-intent recipients.
  6. Include context, value, and a clear deadline.

Day 2 — Follow up and add a second channel

  1. Follow up with non-responders.
  2. Add a second channel to increase visibility (example: link + QR).
  3. Share progress with your team members to create momentum (example: “We’ve already received 4 responses”).

Day 3 — Review and act

  1. Review all responses in your dashboard.
  2. Tag key themes and highlight notable quotes.
  3. Share top 3 insights with your team or stakeholders.

Optimization tips

  • Keep one core survey but test different channel distribution.
