Top navigation overview

The top navigation bar is available throughout Novella after you sign in. Use it to move between core product areas, create surveys, switch workspaces, review notifications, and access account options.

Click the Novella logo to return to your default home page. Depending on your personal setting, this may open Dashboard or another configured landing page.

Dashboard

Use Dashboard to view a high-level summary of workspace activity, survey performance, and recent feedback trends. This is the best place to start when you want a quick snapshot of what is happening across your workspace.

Feedback

Use Feedback to review individual responses submitted by customers or users. Go here when you want to read comments, inspect scores, add context, or follow up on specific feedback.

Surveys

Use Surveys to create, edit, publish, and manage surveys. This area includes your survey list and the tools for maintaining active, planned, draft, and archived surveys.

People

Use People to view and manage the people associated with your workspace. This is useful when you need to find respondents, understand who submitted feedback, or review person-level records.

Companies

Use Companies to view and manage company-level records. Go here when feedback and respondent activity should be reviewed by account, organization, or customer company.

Analytics

Use Analytics to explore trends and performance across feedback and surveys. This section helps you compare results, identify patterns, and review reporting views such as theme or web analytics when available.

Action buttons and selectors

Create Survey

Click Create Survey to start a new survey. This button appears only for users whose workspace role allows them to manage workspace content. On smaller screens, the same action appears inside the mobile navigation menu.

Use the workspace selector to confirm which workspace you are currently viewing. If your account has access to more than one workspace, use the dropdown to switch between them. If you only have one workspace, the selector displays the workspace name.

Mobile navigation

Why some buttons may be hidden

Some top navigation options are role- or account-dependent:

  • Create Survey appears only when your workspace role allows content management.
  • The workspace dropdown appears only when your account has access to multiple workspaces.
  • Notification badges appear only when you have unread notifications.
  • Some product areas may be unavailable if they are not enabled for your workspace.
