The Media Library keeps your workspace’s logos and background images in one place. Add an image once, then reuse it in your surveys and Brand Settings.
Go to Settings → Media Library. You’ll see separate sections for Logos and Background images, along with a storage card showing how much space your workspace has used.
You can also open the Media Library picker while creating or editing a survey, or when choosing an image in Brand Settings.
In the Logos or Background images section, drag an image into the upload area or select browse files. You can also use the import buttons to choose an image from:
Select a file in the service’s picker to add it to your Media Library. The available import buttons also appear in the image picker when you’re creating or editing a survey or updating Brand Settings.

Background images can be up to 3840 × 2160 pixels. If an image can’t be added, check its format, file size, dimensions, and the remaining storage shown at the top of the Media Library.
You can search Pexels for stock photos without leaving Novella. Open a background image picker and select Search Pexels. Search for a photo, select Add to Media Library, and then choose it as your background.
Pexels photos are added to your workspace’s Media Library, so you can reuse them in other surveys. Pexels search is available for backgrounds, not logos.
When creating or editing a survey, open the picker for its logo or background image. Select an image from the library. If you need a new one, upload it, import it from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or SharePoint, or search Pexels for a background photo. Then select the image you want to use.
The same image can be used in multiple surveys. Select Manage Media Library from the picker whenever you want to view or organize your collection.
In Settings → Media Library, select View image on an image card. The details panel shows its file size and which surveys use it.
To make an image easier to recognize, change the Name and select Save name. Renaming it does not change the image used in your surveys.
If you have an updated logo or background, you can replace the existing image instead of changing it in each survey.
Novella updates that image everywhere it’s used, including surveys and Brand Settings. Check the Used by surveys list in the details panel before replacing it if you’re unsure which surveys will be affected.
Select Remove on an image card and confirm. If the image is still used by a survey or Brand Settings, you’ll need to stop using it there before you can remove it. Select View image to see which surveys use it.
